A birthday celebration!

So, for Dan's birthday, I wanted to do something special! Since it is right before the 4th of July, I thought doing the whole fireworks is a given. I wanted to take him out to a new restaurant. Which is pretty hard to find here in Vermont...everything takes about 20 minutes just to get to the next town! So we (Dan, Ron, and Myself) took a 45min. drive to Middlebury. Dan instisted that we stopped on top of the mountain pass to look at the great view (since it was HIS birthday) and then off to the restaurant where we were late to our reservation. The place was crazy interesting and had a lot of character. It was called Fire and Ice. I really picked it because it had a salad buffet, but I told Dan it was because of the fishing theme it had going on. So long and short, the restaurant takes a picture of the birthday boy or girl! He was adorable when they brought out his little carrot cake with a candle. So here is the picture they finally sent me.

Hello All! I am offically a blogger!

I'm starting my blog today! I want to keep track of the events in the next year of my life. Or for that matter the next few years! I am six months pregnant and my husband and i are starting this amazing charpter in our lives. i hope that bloging will be my journal and time line for me to look back on. So I begin this journey......now.
